This sheet provides a central place for admins to view, edit, and control who can access the app.


How to Fill the Authorized Users Sheet
Follow these instructions to update user information and maintain secure access to the CareCircles app

Do not change column headers

The column headers (FirstName, LastName, Email, Role) are required by the CareCircles App.

If you change them, the app will not work correctly.

Adding new users

To add a new user, insert a new row in the sheet.

Fill in the following:

FirstName – Enter the user’s first name.

LastName – Enter the user’s last name.
-
Email – Enter the user’s official email address.

Role – Choose the correct role (e.g., Teacher, Admin) from the dropdown menu.

Role defaults

If you do not select a role, the default role will be Teacher.

Sheet name requirement

Do not rename this sheet.

Sheet ID URL usage
-
Authorized Users Sheet URL needed to use app with your data.
-
The CareCircles App uses the Google Sheet ID from the URL.
-
Ensure you are using the correct sheet with the correct ID.
How to Copy Google Sheet URL

Open your Google Sheet in a browser.

Look at the URL in the address bar — it will look like:

Right-click, and Copy the URL.
-
Than paste the URL in Authorized Users Sheet Link field in school setup form in Let’s Try page.

Email address rules
-
Email addresses are not case-sensitive. (e.g., John@School.com and john@school.com are treated the same.)

The email must belong to the same domain as your school’s domain.
-
Example: If your school domain is @myschool.org, the email should be like teacher@myschool.org.

Do not use email addresses from outside your school domain.

If you do, that user will not be able to log in.
